OUR STORY

My name is Steph and I am the founder of Calming Chaos Candle Co. Calming Chaos Creations came to fruition in 2020 when that little thing called the global pandemic started. I was in the final semester of my Bachelor’s program when the world shut down and all of my classes went to online platforms. I lost my job as a server and bartender because my restaurant closed down so I had quite a bit of time on my hands. I lived alone and finally had the time to dedicate to some more creative ventures.

I dabbled in quite a few different outlets like sign making, crocheting, sewing, and becoming completely obsessed with my Cricut Explore. In the winter of 2021 I started experimenting with candle making and found my favorite hobby in the process. I have spent hours upon hours trying out different scent combinations, finding the perfect wick options, and using every container under the sun. I have found a true passion in making candles and I hope they bring you as much joy as they bring me. Thanks for joining the chaos, I’m glad to have you here!
